Thank you for your interest in joining the Prospect Heights Shul!

Shul membership is an enriching and rewarding experience and PHS is committed to making membership available to all those who are eligible and interested in joining our vibrant and diverse community.

In addition to being part of an inclusive and spiritual community, membership at PHS includes High Holiday tickets, the ability to vote in board elections and other community-wide decisions, discounted pricing for kiddush sponsorship and special events, and more!

Membership in PHS is open to all people of the Jewish faith over the age of 18, of good moral character, committed to the purposes of the Prospect Heights Shul. Those who are not eligible to become a Member may be eligible to become a Friend of the Shul. Members, Friends, and non-members alike are all welcome to take advantage of all that PHS offers, such as prayer services, classes, youth activities, volunteer opportunities, and special programs and events.

Membership is on a January-December cycle and the annual rates are:

Young Leadership Single*

Young Leadership Couple*

Bayit Membership**

*Young Leadership rates are offered to individuals under 30 and to couples where both spouses are under 30. Young Leadership rates are available for a maximum of two years.

**Bayit membership is a membership rate which reflects the shul’s true annual expense per membership unit. The shul encourages those with the financial means to choose the Bayit level to help the shul have the financial resources to meet the needs of our growing community. Note - $2100 is for family. Bayit Single is $1000, and Bayit Couple is $1600.

Please do not hesitate to communicate any financial concerns. Our community strives to be as inclusive as possible and accordingly will never turn away potential members for financial reasons.
